Frequently Asked
Questions

What’s your background?

Over 15 years as Co-founder & President of Karma Tequila with distribution in 30 US markets, distributed mainly by SGWS & RNDC.

Consulting Fees?

After having a few conversations to identify objectives, create a plan of action with an outline of expectations for both parties to agree on moving forward (Hours required X $350/HR).

Should we self distribute?

In the beginning, that’s where most brands start. Even securing a meeting with a large distributor is beyond challenging. They’re going to want to see a good customer list before entertaining a meeting unless you have an “in” with management. If you do self distribute, find a small distributor that is responsible for delivering, bad debt & does the invoicing. Otherwise, be prepared for 25% bad debt as a factor in your pro forma.
